TransfConstrain¶

Enhanced transformation system with smart constraints and visual feedback

What is it?¶

TransfConstrain is an enhanced transformation system that provides smart constraints, visual feedback, and improved control for Move, Rotate, and Scale operations. It automatically activates when the TransfConstrain toggle is enabled, providing contextual assistance and visual cues during transformations.

Access and Shortcuts¶

Pie Menu: Toggles section → "TransfConstrain"
Operators: damtools.smart_translate, damtools.smart_rotate, damtools.smart_scale
Auto-activation: Enhances standard Blender transform operations when enabled
Visual Feedback: Green overlay text appears during constrained transformations

Workflow¶

Enable TransfConstrain from the pie menu toggles section
The system becomes active and monitors transformation operations
Use standard Blender transform tools (G/R/S) or DAMTools smart operators
Visual feedback appears showing constraint information
Enhanced precision and snapping behavior is automatically applied
Disable the toggle to return to standard transformation behavior

Parameters¶

Enable before starting complex transformation workflows
